Train the Trainer
Our Approved Train the Trainer course helps trainers to develop their training skills.
We have had delegates on our Train the Trainer course - Some new to training, others with a number of years experience.
These delegates have one thing in common - They found our Train the Trainer course really helped them to see ways in which they could become better, more effective trainers.

- How to deal with trainee concerns about training.
- The pro's and con's of different training methods.
- How to ensure training is interactive and participative - And not simply a presentation.
- How, why and when to adopt a facilitative or directive training style.
- How to ensure and check that training:
- is really effective
- that objectives have been met
- that real learning has occurred
- What to do before and after training to ensure the best possible outcome for the business and trainees
Course Structure
One thing we emphasise on our Train the Trainer course is that a good training session is not a presentation, with a trainer 'talking at' trainees - Training should be made up of at least 50% delegate participation.
We make sure we follow this 'rule' ourselves! Our Train the Trainer course is therefore very interactive, with plenty of opportunity for delegates to discuss and practice how to handle a range of training challenges.
Before the course
We send our pre course questionnaires to all delegates attending our Train the Trainer courses. The responses are confidential - We use them to help ensure that the course meets the needs' of each delegate.
We are also happy to look through delegates' training material, in order to discuss it with them and provide feedback on the day of the course.
After the course
All delegates who have attended our Train the Trainer course are entitled to six months free telephone and email support after the course. Many delegates use this to send us whole training courses for review.
ILM APPROVED
Our Train the Trainer course is approved and monitored by the Institute of leadership & Management. The ILM (www.i-l-m.com) is the leading UK approving organisation for management and leadership training, and is part of the City & Guilds Group.
Delegates on this course can receive an ILM certificate and one year studying membership (additional fee £45+VAT)
