What is negotiation?

“To confer with another with a view to compromise or agreement.”

That means discussion leading to agreement not discord.

Course Content

You will learn:

  • The difference between negotiation and manipulation
  • How to build trust
  • How to plan your BATNA (Best Alternative to a Negotiated Agreement)
  • How to use active listening to understand the other parties wants and needs
  • How to separate the problem from the person by concentrating on need not position.
