Gwent NHS Trust wanted a custom built training programme for support workers who work mainly with children

The programme involved seven days training spread over a few months. The programme included IT training, communication skills, counselling, information management and an introduction to Transactional Analysis.

The programme was approved by the Institute of Leadership and Management. All delegates received an ILM certificate.

It was particularly important that the training provider could meet with them before hand to discuss their needs and thereby tailor the course.

They first approached Adelphi Associates to provide proposal writing training to their sales staff. This was spread over 3 one day courses. These involved detailed analysis of existing sales documents for readability and sales impact.

Kavanagh subsequently set up a weekly sales review process. Adelphi Associates contributed to the first few months of these meetings.

The training and review process has had a measurable impact of the proposals provided to Kavanagh customers.

Fuji asked Adelphi Associates to provide Train the Trainer and Presentation Skills training for their Sales and technical teams. We used video recording in the Presentation Skills course – after initial hesitation the delegates gained a lot from this part of the training.
