Caroline  

Caroline Colclough

Caroline has been a trainer for over 24 years. During her time as a trainer, her upbeat participative style has won respect from countless delegates.

Throughout her years as a trainer, Caroline has put together innovative and bespoke training, tailored specifically to the needs of her customers.

Much of this training has helped delegates achieve useful qualifications as well as increase their confidence, knowledge and skills.

Her particular passion is learner centred training that is both enjoyable and useful for all the delegates. She is an extremely empathetic trainer who is always willing to go that extra mile to ensure that delegates have achieved their aims.

Caroline leads the development of our Train the Trainer course. This has involved working with UK and European clients from the public and private sectors.

Caroline’s passion for training helps her deliver courses in Assertiveness, Communication Skills, and Presentation Skills. Caroline also continues to develop and train on our Train the Trainer course.

When she gets chance to relax she finds there’s little to beat good wine and an excellent meal – preferably one she has not had to prepare!


  Siobhan

Siobhan Revie

Siobhan is a trainer with 16 years experience in a variety of Sales Management and Training Management positions.  

In the past Siobhan has had experience of working with blue chip companies, setting up e-learning centres to complement tutor training. She has also been involved in the design and writing of e-learning courses in both management and communication skills.

Siobhan also has experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Her career has included GP and Hospital sales as well as Regional Management and ten years in Training Management. Before moving into training Siobhan also worked as a nurse.

Siobhan has broad experience in training both from the commercial and the people aspects.  She has worked with a wide range of organisations offering support within the area of communication skills and business skills.

Siobhan holds a Certificate in Professional Management and has earned a well deserved reputation as an inspirational and successful trainer. She has a passion for facilitating other peoples’ learning and achieves the training objectives through lively, fun and thought provoking activities.

Siobhan's past experience means that she is especially suited to training in Sales skills, and Train the Trainer. She is currently training on our Presentation Skills course, her training style being ideal to help delegates overcome first time presentation nerves!

When Siobhan is not training she loves walking (especially in Scotland and the Lakes) and then relaxing by a fire with a nice glass of wine!


Sue  

Sue Slater

Sue’s career spans more than 20 years in the public and private sectors. Her interest in training began during her early career with the civil service. When she moved to the U.S. more than ten years ago, she began to focus on training and development.

On her return to the U.K. Sue became a full time training consultant working with both large companies and public sector organisations.

Sue is passionate about the positive effects that well-designed training can have on individuals and organisations. She is enthusiastic about Adelphi’s belief in tailoring training to meet the specific needs of both. Sue specialises in ensuring all participants extract the maximum benefit from the courses, working closely with individuals to ensure relevancy as well as understanding.

Sue has been involved in developing our Train the Trainer course and delivers the course to clients in the U.K. and Europe. Her range of knowledge and skills allows her to design and deliver a wide variety of courses including Assertiveness, Communication Skills and Business Writing.

Sue likes to travel when she has the time and is fortunate to be able to divide her free time between the U.K and Geneva!


  Bob

Bob Colclough

Bob has been involved in training and consultancy for the last 15 years. He encourages delegates to clarify for themselves exactly what they want from the training. His upbeat and practical style ensures that their needs are met.

His past career has included time spent in sales, general management, marketing and IT product development.

For some time Bob was UK MD of a 300 strong computer services organisation. The role included responsibility for staff training throughout the organisation - This has given Bob an added insight into the benefits of skills development and training, and also an insight into the best methods to use to ensure success.

Bob has also worked for the UK computer firm IBM, where he was was for several years responsible for reviewing the soundness and effectiveness of many of the company’s written sales proposals. His training with IBM also laid the basis for several successful years in sales.

Bob’s business background has helped him to develop a range of useful, practical skills that makes him a knowledgeable trainer. His varied past experience puts him in an excellent position to contribute to courses in Proposal Writing, Time Management, General Management, Presentation Skills and Train the Trainer.

Life is, however, not all about work. Bob loves nothing more than holidaying in the Scottish Highlands and walking in the hills and around the lochs– weather permitting of course!


Miranda  

Miranda Salmon

Miranda has over 25 years experience of providing training and development. She has a breadth of experience working with a diverse client base.

Miranda focuses her training on enabling people to develop their skills and confidence so they can successfully manage themselves and others. She works with her clients to help them build their skills, abilities and confidence to achieve their potential. Whether it is in delivering effective and interesting presentations or managing difficult staff there is a solution and approach that fits the individual or team.

Miranda works well with both formal structured, subject based training programmes and more loosely structured facilitated learning environments. Within both she is enthusiastic - encouraging participants to learn from their own and others' experiences, and to develop new skills and the confidence to implement them. 

As well as successfully working as a trainer, Miranda also runs her own business designing and making furniture to commission. Although this may seem very different to training, they actually require similar skills. Both call for working with customers to understand their specific needs and perhaps to try something new, ultimately creating an end product which fits the customers' needs.

Miranda is particularly suited to delivering courses on Action Learning Sets, Train the Trainer and Management Training. Her focus is firmly placed how to apply learning directly in the work place.


  Andrew

Paul Hayden

Paul has nearly 20 years training and development experience in a variety of markets and countries.

Paul is qualified through the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. He is also the author of ‘The Learners Pocketbook’ and ‘The Personal Success Pocketbook’, both published by Management Pocketbooks in several languages. Paul is a Fellow of The Institute of Sales and Marketing Management.

Paul has experience in numerous markets including finance, medical, logistics, IT, travel, wholesale, chemical, construction and publishing, and has worked in various countries around the world.

Paul is particularly suited to delivering Train the Trainer, Presentation skills, Management skills and Sales Skills training. With his participative training style, practical techniques and knowledge of how people learn, Paul's courses are memorable, enjoyable and can easily be applied in the workplace.

Paul is married with 2 daughters. In his spare time he enjoys writing and he says he will try anything once, especially if it involves getting his adrenaline pumping!


Andrew  

Andrew Baker

Andy has over 12 years experience in training and management. He also has considerable experience as a director, senior manager and consultant working in a variety of industries, such as the housing, advertising, telecommunications and utility sectors.

In the rapidly developing world of telecommunications he developed induction programmes and ran call centres as well as managing field sales teams.

More recently he has worked closely with the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and West Yorkshire Enterprise Agency developing, building and delivering major business and qualification-led training programmes.

Andy has extensive experience in management in sales, marketing and administration departments. A qualified ILM instructor, he is a Fellow of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management and a published writer in a wide range of magazines and journals.

Andy believes that for training to be effective it must be upbeat and fun -"when people laugh, they learn". With his past experience Andy is ideally suited to deliver training in Proposal Writing, Sales Skills and Train the Trainer.


  Andrew

Steve Harris

Steve Harris is an experienced trainer and coach with sales and senior management experience gained in Financial Services.

Fully aware of the different learning and training styles, Steve is keen to adapt training to accommodate all delegates. Training is delivered in professional yet relaxed manner, with enthusiasm and humour - A combination which makes the training effective, enjoyable and memorable.

Steve has worked for a number of organisations training and developing sales teams and assisting with formulating business strategies. In addition, he is heavily involved in individual coaching and personal development. 

Steve specialises in delivering our Management Development Programme, and Presentation Skills and Time Management courses.

He is married with four children and lives in Cheltenham.  In his spare time Steve enjoys cycling, playing 5 a side football and photography. 

Steve is a qualified hypnotherapist, and he also manages to find time to be a Secretary of a FA Chartered Youth Football Club that has in excess of 400 members.


Rachel  

Rachel Hicks

Rachel is a highly qualified and dynamic trainer with many years' experience. She has developed and delivered bespoke training courses for many well known companies across public, voluntary and private sectors.

Rachel's training style is relaxed and dynamic - She is keen to create a learning environment in which all delegates feel comfortable and able to participate fully.

Rachel aims to bring out the best in all her delegates, and does so by delivering highly participative, friendly, professional and energetic training.

A great communicator and effective motivator, Rachel has a strong commitment to excellence and is an enthusiastic and conscientious individual.

Rachel specialises in delivering our Management Development training, Conflict Management and Train the Trainer programmes.
